They inquired Prophet Muhammad on the direction of Jews regarding three things first one was about the “Sleepers of the Cave” the second one was the “Story of Khidr” and the last one was regarding “Zulqurnain”.
It is related to the beliefs that Surah Al Kahf was conveyed as an answer to a question. According to the teachings of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him), reciting Surah Al Kahf on Fridays can provide protection against evil for a week, and also generate a spiritual light (Noor) for the reciter.
